Hunting

While we don't allow hunting on the property, Three Falls Cove is located on Bugbee Creek, adjacent to Lake Meredith National Recreation Area, which provides habitat for a variety of game including, dove, quail, duck, goose, turkey, javelina, mule deer, pronghorn antelope as well as coyote, raccoon and many other native species.

Dumas, Stratford, Spearman and the North Plains are a short drive away and provide excellent pheasant, duck as well as crane hunts.

We can provide information concerning local outfitters to meet your needs.

Fishing and Boating

The fishing is great at Three Falls Cove. Whether you enjoy fishing for Large Mouth Bass, Crappie, or huge Channel Catfish, our four acre spring fed lake is just the place. We offer private fishing (per person). Texas state license are not required.

Enjoy row boating or get your daily exercise in the paddle boats will certainly be a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Guest and his big bass at Three Falls CoveFishing fees:

  • $10 per person for registered over night guests
  • $35 per person for non-registered guests, day use only

Limited keepers are two catfish, under 5 pounds. Catch and release on all bass. The bluegill and crappie is unlimited.

Boating fees:

  • Paddle Boats are $10 each day
  • Row Boats are $10 each day

The swimming and life jackets are free for your use. Please keep in mind there is no life guard on duty. You will swim at your own risk after signing a waiver with Kirk and Rebecca. Please help us keep this a free service to our guests by keeping trash picked up and putting the jackets back in the life jacket chest located in front of the gazebo.

All equipment is rented on a first come, first serve basis. We do not make reservations for equipment. Rules and regulations will be adhered to at all times.
