Things To Know

The lodge was built and opened in the Fall of 2004.  It consist of 5 bedrooms, all with private baths. 

To rent the entire lodge for a family reunion, business retreat, or event, please call for special pricing based on the event.  We have a 30 day cancellation policy on reservation of the entire lodge.

If entire lodge is reserved, guest will have the option of using the kitchen  and "making yourself at home (breakfast is not included with this option)", or for an additional fee, we will be happy to cater your meal.  Call for pricing.

We have a seven day cancellation policy for individual room rentals.   Any cancellation within seven days of reservation will be refunded if room is filled.

Holidays require minimal 2 day rentals.

Smoking is allowed outside only.

Please do not litter.

Pets are not allowed since Abby (our cocker spaniel) gets jealous easily.

Check in is 3pm to 6pm. Check out is 11am.  Late check in is available with advanced notice.

Prices are based on double occupancy; there after $7 per person added.

A complimentary full West Texas style buffet breakfast is served daily in the Gathering Room.  In addition to fresh fruits, cereals, and bread, a local entree is prepared daily.  Enjoy our fresh roasted coffee, teas and juice.  Guest may enjoy dining in the Gathering Room or outdoors on the deck over looking the pond.

Boating Prices
We have row boats, paddle boats, motorized trolling boats, and floating lounge chairs that are available to rent on a first come basis.

Row Boats $10 per day
Paddle Boats $10 per day
Trolling Boats $20 per day
Floating Lounge Chair $7 per day
                                            
Fishing Prices
We offer private fishing (per person). Texas state license are not required.

For guests: $10
Fishing only: $35

Crappie any size, Bass and Catfish 2 to 6 lbs can be kept . Limit 2 each species.  Unlimited keepers on Bluegill.

Swimming/Zip Line
No lifeguard on duty.  Life jackets are available.  Swim at your own risk. 

 

                                                                                

                      Luxury Cabin 

Private, romantic getaway cabin for two has rustic wood floors with French doors and windows over looking the pond.  The cabin was built in 2003 with a vision to bring couples together and create a getaway from all worldly distractions; and, a goal of getting back to the basics of each other.  Click on picture to read more about the cabin.

Astoria

Romantic room decorated with something old, something new, something borrowed, lots of white and blue.  Commonly referred as my bridal suite.   This room was named after the quilt and the memories of me and my  wonderful mom’s day in the quilt shop.  Click on picture to read more about the room.

Lakeview

This room is decorated in rustic log furniture, queen bed with a customized Donna Sharp quilt in cool colors, comfortable sitting chair, quaint table and chairs overlooking the pond, private bath with a single deep Jacuzzi.   This room was named after the many memories of my family at the lake.  Click on the picture to read more about the room.

Gone Fishin

Rustic log furniture decor with lots of fishing stuff.  It was named from the memories I had growing up on the farm as a little girl.  I was always “gone fishin” down the road a little ways from the house I grew up in.  Click on the picture to read more about the room.

 Whispering Pines

Rustic log furniture decor with the bear and moose theme.  The room overlooks the pond and has sliding glass doors onto the deck.  This room was named from one of my favorite trees, the pine tree.  There is something to say about a pine tree in the West Texas wind.  Click on the picture to read more about the room.

Americana

Patriotic red/white/blue jean room with a full bed and a bunk bed.  I have dedicated this room to our countries colors and the freedoms that they represent.  Click on the picture to read more about the room.
